Let Go You Are Hurting ME !

I assure you that letting go isn't easy. We have all had to let go of our favorite dresses, our children going to college, perhaps our spouses who's left to find love otherwise.  We all have had to experience the hurt of letting go. We have even had to let our small toddlers go who have just arrived into the world and it seems as though they are demanding their independence. 

 Let me go you are hurting ME. 

How did it really feel the moment you knew that you could no longer hold on or that was imperative that you take your hands off of a matter or thing?

In most cases there was some sort of hurt or disappointment. We have seen many instances that require a person to release something because the tighter that they held on the worst the situation got. 

They literally had to throw it down or let go with urgency. And not because of the pain that he or she was experiencing but because of the pain that they were applying to the thing or person that they were holding. 

Let go you are hurting me !

The grip is so tight that it is literally destroying the thing that is being held unknowingly. 

It is dying under the pressure when instead it should be receiving LIFE. 

There are other areas that we hold and cause destruction such as grudges, anger, shame your past life experiences.  It all has a debilitating effect on you and it if you continue with the grip.

God commands that we release all of the LIFE circumstances to HIM.  So that HE may breathe HIS EVERLASTING LIFE into the thing that you think that you can't live without. When in fact it is fear that is holding you from facing your bright future. 

Great things are awaiting you. There may be a new job, home, new family by marriage, new career altogether. There may also just be the simple peace or joy in your home that you've missed or unity among your family members. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against rulers in high places, principalities of darkness (Satan).
There is a scripture that says,"Forget not all of HIS BENEFITS. . . Psalm 103:1-11. And it could be so easy if we are rooted and grounded in the WORD of the LORD. We should saturate ourselves, soak, marinate our minds and hearts in GODS HOLY WORD. Therefore humble ourselves under the MIGHTY HAND of GOD and HE will exalt you in due time (I Peter 5:6). I am sure that HE is sadden and hurt by our human strength that wants to do it all on our own. 
He is waiting to lift the heavy burden, brighten your dark paths, send the devil running, fill your empty cupboard, draw LIVING WATERS to quench your thirst. And because we are fighting to hold it, HE is saying, 

"Let go you are hurting me !"
"I can set you free,  comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be will be set free."

(Isaiah 61:1) 

HE is an ALMIGHTY GOD who can do the impossible, unthinkable, the miraculous, the SUPERNATURAL !!! 

HE is an AWESOME GOD.

 God Takes The Foolish Things To Confound The Wise 

I Corinthians 1:27

Right in the middle of Paul's own writings, God shows how He (GOD) can take the foolish things and confound the wise,  I Corinthians 1:27.  Within just a few chapters in II Corinthians, Paul is found defending his person or ministry if you will. How can Paul the writer of Corinthians and many other expository books of the bible be considered a "timid" man? Remember Paul was the man blinded, a destroyer of God's people.  If we look at his writings we can believe the very opposite. It is as though he was a Christian all of his life, with years and years of experience. In fact Paul is known for being a prolific writer of many books of the Bible.  And he is known for his very powerful, explosive and weighty letters. And yet when people meet him they aren't impressed and is almost repulsed by the man that they meet.

 How could this be?  

⁷ Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? if any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.
⁸ For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
⁹ That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.
¹⁰ For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

In the scriptures II Corinthians 10: 7-10

 Can you believe the word "contemptible" was used to describe Paul's speech and the word "weak" was used to describe his appearance; no energy?  Paul the Apostle. I'm sure you have met a person like this.  You listen to them speak and wonder how in the world could this be the person that is representing this large Fortune 500 company. They could barely even get their words out or when they did you  barely understood it or could even tolerate it. They are poorly dressed, shoulders bent over and tattered appearance, sort of broken down.  But isn't that just like GOD and HIS Awesomeness. He took a man that didn't look the part, that didn't act the part or could even be the part and made him who He (GOD) wanted him to be. He basically made Paul over and yet it wasn't visible to the eye or ears for that matter. We always make it seem as though GOD does a @MTV or @TLC What Not To Wear makeover. Or we want them to live in our gated communities, join our clubs, or shop the same boutiques.  And GOD does just the opposite in many cases. It is the "internal" man that GOD changes. And the changes are made obvious in the POWER of the DELIVERY of the GOSPEL.  We have shiny new Christians dressed in @Armani @Prada @Marc Jacobs etc., and there is not an ounce of GOD's POWER present.  And yet some have the gall to not interact with others who are not visibly able to afford the fine clothes or have a college degree who do. This is a valuable lesson for us Christians who are fortunate.  Some of us have been so blessed and are doing exceptionally well, praise GOD.  But please be very careful that you are not in the presence of God's angels unaware. Hebrews 13:2 (NIV) Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

There are people are suffering because of the very manner that you treated them. Can you recall an instance that you weren't so sweet to the sister or brother that visited your church or said hello ? You looked at how they appeared and were reluctant to even smile at them. You were afraid that you would have to entertain them further. Or you assumed that they would want to be a part of your clique and you might have made a very big mistake.  You are wise but God is wiser. 

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 

I Corinthians 13:1 

Can God use you ? 

Are you available ?

Do you even hear Him ?

You look good but . . . 

Where can you go in the Spirit?

I heard a minister refer to this scripture and it exploded on the inside of me. 

 1. When the Word of God would come to Jeremiah God first asked Jeremiah what did he see, (HE wanted to know his perception or know if Jeremiah's vision was clear).  And then HE told him yes you have seen correctly. God confirmed Jermiah's sight and understanding of GOD's WORD.

2. And then God told Jeremiah that HE wanted him to prepare (get ready, stand up) because HE wanted to give HIM WORDS to speak. GOD could trust Jeremiah to say what HE said and how HE said and when/what HE said.
 

NOTE : 

GOD already knows what is on the inside of you. Because HE formed you.

4 The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
5 “Before I formed you in the womb(G) I knew[a](H) you,

We can be just as effective even if we don't say one word. 

Many times we are tempted to respond to ignorant people and end up in places we don't desire. It sure has been a struggle for me. Especially when we are in the midst of a group of people freely giving their own opinions.  But if we can get to the point and bridle our tongues, write some things down we can avoid misrepresenting God.  Even though He understands after creating His son Jesus's, desciple named Peter. Peter was a strong, vigilant personality and sometimes the words just didn't get to the paper for editing,  they blurted out.  Effective? Sometimes and in some cases he was even rebuked. But Peter was also well known for still being very effective in preaching in God's ministry.

 I am by no means condoning or encouraging poor behavior in the community of Christ, there should be accountability and discipline. We should hold one another to a standard.  As God's Word encourages us to be HOLY, and to be an example.  First for Him out of respect and honor, and then ourselves and one another. We should strive to be better at being whole respresentatives of Christ.  We ought to try and be perfect, holy, and blameless exhibiting the characters of the Fruit of The Spirit. In spite of pitfalls that we will experience on this journey of KINGDOM building we have to try to be consistent.

Think, what if you were pushed away because of your idiosyncracies.

Let us be careful to condemn, to push away and to even ostracize people because of our self righteousness. 

We are to display love. The Word of God  says that Christians should be known for their LOVE. In the scripture John 8, Jesus already knew the people that he was dealnig with. They were opinionated, mouthy, loved to gossip, and were always in the crowd of those condeming.  So he stooped twice to write avoiding the argument that he as God had alread perceived. He knew that that here was going to be a long drawn out mess of a discussion that would be futile. Read further in the chapter to see how they debated with Jesus.  And they probably didn't spend that kind of time reading and worshiping God and wanted to give their opinion about about this womans life.  She was caught in adultry and some of the stoners were adulters too, but they just weren't caught. They wanted to stone her and kill her. How tipical of some of the "Christians" or the "Saints". Who are willing to cut down the sin instantly with a brutish energy and we have bags of stuff to be unloaded, a semi truck load if you will. Jesus stooped and wrote twice.  What was he wrting . I believe that Jesus was writing his own WORD, "It is written." Demanding Satan to  submit to His authority, Jesus Lord.  Because had he said it, those observing would have had something to say about that too. And so he stooped. And as he arose the second time the enemy and his camp had packed and left. What a powerful moment in the history of the gospel  We often want to preach, sing be heard, and sometimes our silences is equally as powerful in the SPIRIT. 

 Jesus couldn't get involved in speaking idle words, because they can be as effective as the POWER of HIS WORDS, written or spoken. That's why it is written in Matthew 12;36, that people will be held accountable for every idle word. And also the word says Matthew 4:4, we should live by every WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD. Because of the LIFE giving SOURCE of the WORDS of GOD.

Mark 5:18-20

I have read this story Mark 5:18-20 . . . and heard it many times but let me share what the Holy Spirit revealed after a recent message that I heard. I try to always go back and reread for further inspiration after hearing a sermon. And this is what I got :
"For The Healed, There Is Work To Do . . . Jesus assigned"

Jesus

was leaving the city getting on the boat, and the man ( who Jesus had healed from demons) begged to follow Jesus.
He begged. hmmm
But Jesus encouraged him to stay home and tell his own people and the people of Decapolis (The Decapolis "Ten Cities"; Greek: deka, ten; polis, city) about what he had experienced. This man had been healed from demons, and Jesus had work for him to do. GO and tell ! And I'm sure it was a Powerful Fresh WORD to be heard. Jesus SPOKE and healed him and in an instance, he was delivered, and people were amazed. And man is in His right mind, he is a follower of CHRIST and on assignment to tell how good God is. (THE GOSPEL) WOW  
Take a moment and ask Him who what when where what time how. HE has a WORD.

The scripture, Mark 5:18-2018 As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. 19 Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them(J) how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20 So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis[b](K) how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.

The story says that Job was an godly and upright man. And things started to quickly unfold incredibly in his life. All because Satan wanted to try Job's faithfulness to God.  Job experienced heart ache, friends walking away, marital problems, death and loss and financial status was even put to the test with the loss of possessions. Let me not forget to mention the physical body was even tried.  And even after such harsh conditions and failure one thing following the other, Job stood still in his faith and trust in God. Speaking what he remembered in the WORD of God. What an emotional roller coaster he must have been experiencing. It is almost unimaginable that an “upright” man would have to face such difficulties. 
Why would God step back in all of His Glory and say that it is okay for Satan to go against His man of god with all that he had?
 Isn’t God supposed to be compassionate?
 Doesn’t he care about His men and women of God?
Just imagine if Job had no clue who Jesus was, how could he bear it  all?
The magnitude of the test alone could have smashed Job completely. But instead the Majestic Power of God under girded him in all of dysfunction’s furry to utterly destroy him and everything around.
Favorable dysfunction sounds contradictory. Where is favor in all of this madness, chaos and confusion, dilemmas and disillusion? God don’t you love me ? You said in your Word that You would never leave me nor forsake me. 
And you don’t hear a word from God.
The nights come and go eyes filled with tears heart broken no one to talk to because they all believe that you brought it on yourself and that you are the very cause of all of your own problems.  And you even hear so called inspirational messages that suggests the same. You are the reason that you are going through these things.
 Where do you go from here ?
And you begin to ask the relevant questions that could find possible answers to lead you to a better place than you are. And there is nothing.
No there isn’t any emails, no postcards from friends traveling, no calls, no visits. You are all alone hurting with God’s words still on your lips because he promised that he would come. He said that all things were working together for my good.  He further said to not be unequally yoked with non believers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And you feel like you’ve been ambushed by an army of Satan’s best imps. Still repeating God’s Word to yourself, as you try to continue to walk and see some light.  Nothing is right anymore. Painful truths and heartfelt untruths pounding your head as you try to discern exactly what in the world is God doing ?  Is it you God ? And what am I to learn in such harsh dysfunctional circumstances. How can there be any good that arises out of this pile of rubble left from the inferno of Satan’s hellish trails throughout my life. He has given me hell in every area of my life and without a care seems to want to take me out.
But here is where the story gets good. You see at the beginning when he asked God for permission to test the servant named Job, God gave Satan instructions.  He told him specifically that he could touch everything, but he couldn’t have his soul.  Favor?
 It was there all alone. FAVOR was written in the fine details of Satan’s contract to take you out. Although you thought hell had moved in and redecorated your life. God had his hand on you all the while.  What profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul ? What fellowship has darkness with light? Satan desired to sift you as wheat but be encouraged I have prayed for you. Though they slay me yet will I trust. His mercy endures forever. He will keep you in perfect peace those that keep their minds stead on him. 
Daniel in the lions den knew that God could.  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego believed God to be Awesome,  and understood that if he didn't show up and do what they believed or wanted He was still ABLE.  Forever and ever and ever He promised lo he will be with you for always until the end of time.
Don’t let go !
 The race is won but you have to finish ! The reward awaits you but you must be present to receive it. If it had not been for the Lord on your side where would you be when Satan is allowed to reek havoc in your life and that of your family’s.  Favor aint fair is the phrase some use, but it goes both ways When favor has been given don’t expect a simple happy road always. You may not have to fight but you will have to be filled. The Holy Spirit will sustain you if you faint not. Because God will do everything that He promised some 100 fold even double for your trouble for those who dare to believe. Some say if you see crazy cross the street. But it is clear that crazy may be the beginning of a phenomenal event that is about to take place in your life.  
God can use anything or anybody, just seek His face for His Will.

grapes; taste test.  The moment

 my mouth reached the rim of this stylish and

sophisticated wine snifter, I had to

encounter it over and over again. Every sense

embodied its presence. And as I breathed its

fragrant aromas, the essence of the moment

swirled through the glass. I sensed that it was a

gift of wisdom infusing experience.

My Response To Oprah's Article About Cheryl Strayed

This article (Oprah. com) is especially for me where I am right now. I felt like i was being tutored on every thought, idea and word. And that somehow they (thought idea and words) were being manifested in the physical as well. But now with hindsight, yt was absolutely alignment happening at its best. As I already knew God and had a relationship, I just needed to be nudged back to a closer walk with more trust and deliberate obedience to HIS PERFECT WILL for my life daily. You Fill Me Up

You Fill Me Up

And what exactly does that mean?
Fill up :: means to engage or occupy completely; make full.
Don't we all want to be more, full
or be engaged with?
You may otherwise think that there is something wrong.
We meet new and exciting people all the time. And now with the social media
we are only a keystroke away from a new "friend" or "buddy".
I don't necessarily like this process to meet someone, because I enjoy the actual greeting and meeting with others; connecting.
I don't get to do it as often as I'd like.
Connecting with people
is essential to our growth and development.
To me it's like comfort food
or sunbathing. We need that connectivity on a daily. It's also like having a massage.
When each part of your body is
given a gentle touch or gesture of fondness, tenderness
or love it's soothing.
And so is
being filled up with the energy of genuine, positive, loving human connection.
How do you fill someone up?
And
what do you fill them up with?
What does a person feel
like when you show up?
