God, You Know Me And That Is All That Matters

God, You Know Me And That Is All That Matters

Did you want to impress someone?
Don't bother, it won't even matter.
God has everything under His control.
He understands exactly what we are, who we are, what we need, where we should live, and all the unnecessary details.
Being who you are is not difficult, it ought to come natural.
The mask, facades, all the coverings will be removed and the real person will be revealed.
So don't hide, instead shine.
Who you are has been determined by God, and it's good, as long as He is in control of the developmental process.
So there is no need to hide, God is watching
every move you make and every step that you take.
He is there.

Psalm 139

1O lord, You have searched me, and known me.

2You know my down sitting and mine uprising, You understand my thoughts afar off.

3You compasses my path and my lying down, and You are acquainted with all my ways.

4For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, You know it altogether.

5You have beset me behind and before, and laid Your Hand on me.

6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

7Whither I go from Your Spirit? or whither I flee from Your Presence?

8If I ascend up into heaven, You are there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

10Even there shall Your Hand lead me, and Your Right Hand shall hold me.

11If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

12The darkness hides not from You; but the night shines as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to You.

13For You have possessed my reins: You have covered me in my mother's womb.

14I will praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Your Works; and that my soul knows right well.

My Floral Arrangement

Thanksgiving Dinner arrangement that I created. I had the opportunity to meet two lovely ladies at Garden Ridge Pottery during the weekend. They both spent a nice amount of time helping me to select the flowers, and stuff.
It turned out really nice.

Special shout out to Corliss and a lil lady I'm naming "Gayle" .
created.

P.S. Post your comments, I'd like your feedback, or post your holiday decorations.

MUSIC
M.essages U.sed S.pecifically I.n C.risis

Have you ever been in a crisis, and all of a sudden you could hear a favorite tune?
It must have been an angel that whispered the song.
The message is clear to me in the song. Each sentence, every note, the melody was created for this moment in time. And now I am singing instead of worrying. How wonderful was it that a writer sat down and followed his heart and now it is healing mine. The place or time that it was penned is insignificant, but every note, bar, the key, and all the words were written just for me. There were tough times, but I thank God for the messages that were used specifically for me in crisis.
A writer wrote, It Is Well; when peace like a river attended my way, when sorrow like sea billows roll, whatever my lot, He has taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul. It is the peace and certainty that surrounds me during difficult times, while singing this song, that encourages patience, comfort and the reassurance that everything would be okay. There has always been a message for my crisis, they were already experienced and well written.
Sing, hum, whistle even if it is way out of tune, then comes the "Son", to heal whatever hurts.

Yours Truly,

Alethea J Brown

Joy . . . With You In Mind

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 16:11

Joy . . . With You In Mind

I can't resist the opportunity to encourage you to find a place of joy.
There are so many things that we could find that we
could be sad about.
But I rejoice today, because
God loves us so much.

Find a place of joy, before the holidays begin.
Create each day with your heart, in spite of your circumstances.
Embrace your children with everything in you.
Give them your best, which is happiness.
They will remember that, and then the meal that you prepare with your hands.
Joy how do you define it?
What do you do to find it?
Where will you go, looking for it ?
It is where you are.

Today I read an article by Martha Beck in O Magazine. It was about

"The Art of Perfect Timing".

We can't force it.

There is an ordained time for events to happen in our lives. And when we elect to honor our spirit
(or acknowledge) the Holy Spirit, things happen.

I say, "It's like
serendipity : )

Ooohhh, I love that feeling of relinquishing, letting go, and letting God.

(really letting God)

Great things happen.

Thanks

Alethea
